Lateness as a sign of indiscipline

Mass communication students have always being noted to be diligent and disciplined when it comes to early attendance to lectures and other school activities in the school
But today seem to be different, almost 90% of 300level students failed to come early to their lecture this morning which was scheduled for 8:00am and was announced on the group WhatsApp
It was a pitiful sight to behold as these students seat outside the lecture hall while lectures was going on,this was as a result of their lateness and would not to distract the lecture
One could being to imagine what could be the cause of such attitude, is it Laziness, not aware earlier enough the time for the lecture or is it just their ignorance
